ECONOMIC OUTLOOK 2025 & BEYOND

FEI Online Event | 19 February 2025

12:00 PM - 1:00 PM AEDT

With the Australian economy experiencing its most subdued growth for some decades, it is timely to check-in on what the new economic landscape means for the year ahead, and long-term business performance.

What do the key economic indicators mean for the near- and future-term operating environments, and what do CFOs and finance teams need to know to align their businesses?

FEI is delighted to welcome guest speaker Luci Ellis, Group Chief Economist at Westpac to share her insights on what to expect for 2025 and beyond.

Luci Ellis is Westpac’s economic spokesperson and responsible for the Bank's economic research. She was previously Assistant Governor (Economic) at the Reserve Bank of Australia from December 2016 until October 2023. Luci's three-decade career in central banking at the RBA spanned several senior positions including the role of Head of the Financial Stability Department (for eight years), and two years spent on secondment at the Bank for International Settlements in Basel, Switzerland. Luci has been a member of the Australian Statistics Advisory Council, the statutory advisory body to the Australian Bureau of Statistics, since November 2015.

Don't miss the opportunity for expert analysis and perspectives from one of Australia's leading economists.  We are thrilled to have the benefit of Luci's deep experience to lead our member discussion.
