Join us, and guest speakers Susan Ferrier and David J. Schwarz at our next FEI learning event for an in-depth discussion about that first board position. 

Susan Ferrier is a non-executive director who sits on a range of Boards including FEI's.  Starting with the Board of the Royal Hospital for Women Foundation in 2015, Susan gradually added to a portfolio of non-profit and special interest directorships that has included the Committee for Sydney, the Sydney Symphony Orchestra, Jawun and Message Stick Foundation.  Susan has been fully dedicated to her portfolio career since stepping down from her prior executive role as Group Executive People & Culture at NAB in 2023.

David J. Schwarz is the Global Chief Executive of The Board Appointments Group, a suite of four businesses that help professionals find board opportunities and develop board careers in Australia, New Zealand, the United Kingdom and in other international locations.  Formerly a search consultant at board level, David is a specialist in board recruitment and understands what it takes to get appointed to a board, and develop a boardroom career.
